Southern Caribbean Cruise 2012

We cruised on Holland America’s Maasdam for 25 days and traveled over 6,000 miles on the ship.   Many of the photos for these postcards were taken with my new 4S iPhone camera. I gave them borders and captions while they were still on the iPhone’s camera roll, and was able to then email the “cards” directly from the iPhone.  I think you can tell which cards were iPhoned and which were created in my traditional manner!

We left the Cheshire Cat in Ft. Lauderdale and went to “live aboard” in luxury on a ship with the Celebrity cruise line called the Century. 

As with several of our early cruising vacations, this trip took place long before I started making HUGcards.  Instead I made three little scrapbooks, or “migital albums.” I have taken the three covers and a few of the pages from these albums and arranged them in HUGcard-like collages here.
