Cruise to Mexico and Hawaii 2011

We left Ratherby in storage in Arizona and took time out for a cruise on the Zaandam , a Holland America ship.  Eleven days down the Mexican Riviera.  Fourteen days to “circle” Hawaii. In all, we traveled over 8,000 miles at sea.  Owen came with us (kind of).

Our Way of Life is Changing

Yet, if nothing ever changed the world would have no butterflies.  We suspect that we’ll be changing into more ordinary “snowbirds.” Sad to say, we no longer have a Cat to chase the butterflies for the fun of it.

Cruising Mexican Riviera #2 2010

We scheduled this cruise as a treat to our Colorado kids.  We traveled with Donna,Tom and Rachel Roderick (from Boulder) and Lyssa, James, Sedona and Lex (from Steamboat).  We were all much too busy “collecting waves” to even think of making HUGcards.  Instead, I made two souvenir videos for the family.  Do watch them.  We had a really great time!

Cruising the Mexican Riviera #1 2010

This cruise, on board Royal Caribbean’s “Radiance of the Seas,” kicked off our 50th Anniversary Year!  I took time to make a few HUGcards.  (Just a few!)

Eastern Caribbean Cruise 2008

We took six other Stalmacks with us on this cruise: Brett, Sarah, Halee and  Hanna Stalmack, along with David and Sandra Stalmack.  Instead of HUGcards, I made our Halee and Hanna “migital albums” as souvenirs of the trip. I have taken the covers and a few of the pages from these albums and arranged them in HUGcard-like collages here.
